Shillett Combe lies within the area known as Porlock Common. I spent an hour or so one very windy afternoon in early autumn watching the ever changing play of the cloud shadows as they raced across the landscape. To make this image it was just a case of waiting for a pleasing combination of light and shade. It's never perfect, mother nature isn't like that, but you have to make the best of what is on offer when you are there. As always, being there in the first place is the key to comming away with a successful image that you might otherwise not have had.
