I have driven this road across Almsworthy Common many times and noted the arrangement of these beech trees but it wasn't until I saw lighting like this, just after sunrise in autumn, that I stopped to take a shot of it. The red colour was so intense that I had to tone it down a bit to make it look more realistic.
