As I have said elsewhere on this website I shall always remember the morning I took this image of the midsummer sun rising behind Flatholm Island. Had I not been ill and forced to rise early I might never have witnessed this spectacle. For many years since I have tried to recreate this image using better equipment but weather conditions have never been favorable, so this image remains special.
