Autumn at Checkendon

I had noticed this oak tree in autumn dress a few days earlier and decided to return in sunnier conditions to photograph it. A mad dash early one morning to get there while the sun still shone saw me in position just in time to take a couple of images before those dark clouds in the background came rolling in bringing heavy rain with them. And no I didn't get wet as my car was parked just behind me.
