I was passing this way early one morning and stopped to capture this image of the sunlit waters and silhouetted skyline. Bassenthwaite Lake does not have the popularity that most of the others enjoy as its surrounding topography is less dramatic. However, it still has a scenic beauty worth investigating and can yield some great images.
