Christmas Day afternoon on the way up to Alcombe Common. It was so still and quiet and very gloomy in the woodland. I rounded a bend in the path and there it was. The sun had just managed to climb high enough in the winter sky to make it over the hills and illuminate this snowy path with a rich golden glow. It was magical.
