The mix of early autumn and late summer colours are what caught my eye here, together with the interlocking spurs of the opposing hillsides. As its name suggests this is the head of Hawk Coombe, the lower stretches of which are so prominent in views of Porlock Vale as seen from Dunkery Hill.
