Valley of Rocks

The flat green area in the center of this image is a cricket pitch ! What a location, surrounded by the weather sculptured rocky spires and pinnacles that make up the Valley of Rocks.
This image was taken on a sunny and peaceful autumn morning. Timing was difficult. Too early and the shadow on the left extends too far across the valley. Too late and the warm light of the early sun is lost. Hopefully this image strikes a good balance.
