A cold winters morning on the meandering path to the summit of Dunkery Hill, and a solitary Exmoor Pony gazes thoughtfully as though contemplating the trek to the summit.
What thoughts were going through its mind. Was it wondering where the rest of its herd had got to ? No, because they were a short distance off to the left out of shot. The camera doesn't really lie but the photographer can create an effect by choosing what to include, or exclude, from the image.
