I love plants, particularly trees and shrubs, and I love to photograph them, but I'm not a plant specialist and most of the time I haven't a clue what their names are. I photograph them for their asthetic appeal - like the fantastic side lighting and deep shadows on the arrangement of pumpkins in the image opposite. And yes, in this instance I do know that these are pumpkins !
So, throughout this gallery mostly you wont get plant names, just the location where they were taken, usually at stately homes or the RHS gardens at Rosemoor. Some are even taken in my own garden at home.
Enjoy the images for what they are, just pretty pictures of plants.
